NSCC Charity Auction for Cleveland Charities at 2024 Convention

The National Sports Collectors Convention (NSCC) is adding a charitable twist to its 2024 event in Cleveland. A special charity auction is set to take place, benefitting three Cleveland area charities. This philanthropic initiative coincides with the National’s 44th anniversary, making it a memorable occasion for both collectors and those in need.

The auction, hosted by Pristine Auction, will showcase 44 unique items, created exclusively for this event. Among the highlights are two prestigious paintings by renowned sports artists, each valued between $10,000 and $15,000. The auction will commence on July 20, 2024, and run for a week, concluding on July 27, 2024. Interested bidders can participate online through a dedicated link, with select items also available for viewing at the convention venue.

Some of the top items up for bidding include original paintings such as the “Cleveland Collage” and the “LeBron James Portrait.” In addition, collectors can get their hands on rare sports memorabilia like a Mickey Mantle signed baseball, a 1955 Bowman Mantle SGC 3 card, and a 1987 Fleer Jordan PSA 8.5 card. The auction will also feature signed jerseys, lithographs, and even musical memorabilia, making it a diverse and exciting collection for sports enthusiasts and collectors.

The charitable aspect of the auction aims to support three commendable causes in the Cleveland area. The beneficiaries include the Greater Cleveland Food Bank, Inc., which works tirelessly to provide access to nutritious food for those in need, ensuring everyone in the area is well-fed and supported. The City Mission is another recipient, aiding individuals and families facing homelessness by offering comprehensive programs designed to help them build stable, independent futures.

The NSCC expresses gratitude to all participants for their generous support and invites attendees to join the auction to make a difference while indulging in their passion for sports memorabilia. By uniting the sports collecting community, the NSCC aims to create a positive impact and uplift the local charities that play a vital role in supporting vulnerable individuals in Cleveland.

In conclusion, the 2024 NSCC Charity Auction presents a unique opportunity for collectors to acquire exclusive items while contributing to meaningful causes in the Cleveland area. It’s a chance to celebrate the love for sports memorabilia while making a difference in the community. Join the auction, bid generously, and be part of this charitable endeavor at the 2024 National Sports Collectors Convention.
